Joseph Lekkas has been in the music business for over 20 years.

Originally from Philadelphia, he worked for Heyday Entertainment, booking such legendary venues as The Khyber and North Star Bar before starting his own boutique agency, Village Green Productions.

Village Green promoted shows in clubs such as Johnny Brendas, World Cafe Live, Trocadero and the TLA, and founded The Philadelphia Film and Music Festival, which lasted until 2011.

In addition to promoting shows, Joseph worked as a freelance marketing consultant, in addition to being a co-owner of Surreal Sound Studios, the largest rehearsal studio in Philadelphia, in which he is still a partner.

In 2014 Joseph moved to Nashville and has worked as a booking agent for both Green Room Music Source and Bonfire Touring as well as talent buyer for The Eighth Room. 

In addition to his music biz pursuits, Joseph is an actively performing musician and has produced dozens of artists in his recording studio, Greenland Studios, in East Nashville.

He is a life long fan of metal, post punk, avant garde, electronic, shoegaze and new wave music, mini-daschunds and classic european cars.
